Cloud Printing PDF Print E-mail

Printers are a pain. These days its likely that you have many computing devices, but only one printer. Want to print the confirmation page for an Amazon order from your netbook? Better get up and power on your desktop so you can access the shared printer....

A wireless printer is an ok solution, as there is no need to have a host pc. But what if you are on your iPhone or Android device and want to print that Cold Stone Creamery coupon for free ice cream that they give you on your birthday? Do you vpn into your home network to use your wireless printer? Do you disconnect from your cell network to connect to your home network via wifi, dropping all of your open ssh connections? Do you bite the bullet and boot up your dusty old XP machine that you keep around just for printing purposes because your printer's manufacturer refuses to write Linux drivers?

Google is working on a solution for this printing dilemma, in hopes to take the pain out of printing.
