Blue screen PDF Print E-mail

So just as I thought I had made the turn fully away from Windows and all Microsoft desktop products, I was shocked at this one.
I go to fill my car up with gas, and right on the darn pump where there is a video screen normally showing a quick weather report followed by an advertisement on the latest hot, greasy gas station goody, I am faced with a “blue screen of death”  a la our friends at Microsoft.

I guess .NET has penetrated the purpose built market of gas station pumps, but I’m guessing .NIX will likely win that battle due to increased stability.  So hopefully next time I hit the pump, I’ll see that nice little weather report and really get convinced to go in the store and procure 6 warm, fresh,  glazed donuts.  And Microsoft can keep something simple like a single push application running for us all!

Best regards,
I.T. Crashin
